Monday, June 24, 2024 9 AM PST Zoom session
Below are the questions you submitted for our Monday June 24, 2024 Zoom Session.
Please show the difference Before and After the Wright Balance Express and placement of the tape on the fingers used to square the hip line for:
- Grip Size
- How the Hands hang
- The Trail Hip
- Foot Flare
You showed how the grip matches the carrying angle for shoulder rotation and a flat left wrist vs cupped or bowed. I understand that. What else restricts shoulder rotation?
Answer: 1. Arms position on chest wall
- Posture
You showed how to determine the dominant Core Zone using the OK sign and pressure on the Power Spot of the other hand in the last Zoom session. I understand that and I have done it with 100 percent success with all of my lessons in the past 2 weeks.
There are 2 parts to my question:
- You didn’t talk about the heel to toe balance location and the line of pressure or line of force created by each of the Core Zones when we determine the Dominant Zone
- My second question: Multiple students have asked me how great players currently and in years past squared their hips at address without knowledge of tape on the fingers & the Wright Balance 4-Way Express or the Wright Balance Optimization Move (the Wright BOM). I am referring to players like Sam Snead. For example, if their hands don’t hang the same, how did they get their hips square and hands hanging the same at address. They must have done something??
“Hands on” with club and putter: We will “test” the following players together.
Sam Snead
Nick Faldo
Bob E Smith
Nancy Lopez
Kevin Stadler
Justin Thomas
Matt Wolf
Sergio Garcia
Brian Harman
Patrick Cantlay
European Players of the 90s
I saw Mr. Rinker’s recent video on Putter Release, would you please elaborate on that with regard to each Core Zone and then Nicklaus and the block putting stroke.
We will explore the set and release of the putter and the full swing as related to balance
